BA Wheels, Norwich

BA Wheels were, when we were invited up to meet them, using a standard type Box Oven & Water Wash Booth setup originally supplied and installed by BKR. Having secured a second building directly adjacent to the original set-up, and although a touch on the small size, a frantic effort to design a, ‘squeezed in’, Conveyorised System commenced! Many drawings and layout changes in, plus a couple of hilarious nights out involving too many glasses of vino with the lovely owners, Bruce & Adelle, the order was placed! The BA System is a compact dual oven design having two water wash booths, the second having a split partition. For us, it was a lesson in how to pour a quart into a pint pot, but nevertheless, after a few post build design changes and upgrades to the fresh air balanced input system, the System is doing what it was designed to do, coat alloy wheels to a very high visual standard using a semi automated process!
