RIWSGuard - ULTIMATE Cleaning & Surface Protection

As we all know, genuine OE Alloy Wheel Coating Systems are specially formulated not just to provide a superlative visual appearance, they are also very HIGHLY functional!!  BUT WHAT’S UNDER THE COATINGS as these alone cannot protect the wheel for the lifetime of the Warranty, especially in the UK?  EVERY OE manufactured alloy wheel, whether cast or forged, passes through a multi stage clean, etch, conversion coating and pure water rinsing system resulting in an oxide free highly passivated surface, guaranteeing that the metal surface is far less reactive to environmental exposure in the field of use!

As a result of having extensive experience at the coalface of nearly every OE Wheel Manufacturer over the years whilst being an employee of one of the largest Global manufacturers of OE alloy wheel coatings, this knowledge has now been applied to the design of our very own multi stage alloy wheel pre treatment system.

RIWSGuard is an OE type multi stage cleaning, rinsing and conversion coating package designed to mimic the process routes of OE Manufacturer’s, and within a very compact footprint, in order to: -

• Add warranty value to high end wheel remanufacturing businesses.
• Reduce warranty claims against poorly cleaned alloy wheels through superior cleaning, etching, rinsing and surface passivation.
• Apply a Zirconium based dry in place resinous film prior to forced hot air dry off.
• Rinse using DI Water to OE specifications.

The bespoke fabricated Wash System is to our very own standalone design, and has the following attributes:

• DI Water Plant.
• Available in various standard sizes up to a maximum of 50 alloy wheels per batch.
• Process time per batch approx. 40 to 90 minutes, depending on specification required.
• Compact footprint, approx. 3.3 x 3.0 x 4.2m, (H, D, W), for a 25 to 30 wheel System!
• Can be easily programmed to employ different process routes depending on chemical supplier, chemistry and OEM Customer Specification!
